Heritage Day in South Africa is celebrated on 24 September every year. Each year on this day all South Africans celebrate the 11 official languages, diversity, different Gourmet foods, Cultural attire, and reflect on the countries historical past and why it is important to be South African.
South Africans are also known as the Rainbow Nation because of the diversity and cultural backgrounds that make up the population of South Africa.
Heritage Day South Africa is also known to some as National Braai Day, the day is used to promote Peace, Social relations, Reunification, Cultural diversity, and Economical growth.
African Traditional Home and Wear used the Month of September to promote these values and hosted their Heritage Day 2020 competition where all South Africans were invited to post and share their Heritage day pictures or videos and were proud to announce their Heritage Day 2020 competition Winners Blu Gel for their contribution in showing off their companies diversity and different cultural backgrounds.
