Shipping policy

  1. General Information
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using your nominated bank account. 
 
  1. Delivery Location
Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to physical addresses. Any shipments outside of South Africa will be subject to your countries customs policies and African Traditional Home and Wear will not be held responsible for any further costs that may occur after your order has been dispatched. Kindly check with your countries customs policies on what products are allowed to be shipped to your country as African Traditional Home and Wear will not be held responsible for any loss of products that may not be allowed to be shipped into your country. 
 
  1. Delivery Time
Local Estimated delivery time is 5-7 working days once your order is placed. International delivery time is dependent on flight schedules and your countries customs which will vary and as a guide line may vary between 7-14 working days. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order within 1 -2 business day of the date of your order. Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays.
Please note we do not ship on weekends.
 Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, the method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.
  1. Delivery Instructions
You can provide shipping instruction by adding order notes when checking out on the website. 
 
  1. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed for you to select.
Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page. 
Zambia:
All products exclusive to Zambia will carry a flat rate based on your order. Once the order arrives in Zambia there might be a surcharge on your order which is only determined on arrival. This excludes customs which will be at your costs.
 
  1. Damaged Items in Transport 
If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, please contact us immediately at info@africantraditionalwear.co.za within 24hours of receiving your items. Pictures of the delivery should be attached to your email.
